Visitor Policy

For the purposes of this policy; “Principal Guest” is the person whose name is in the booking and is financially responsible for the booking and incidental charges. “Guest” is the person who checks in with the principal guest and intends to reside for most of the stay. “Visitor” is a person who registers later during the booking and does not stay for the full length of the stay

According to Colombian law, Article 17 of Law 679 of 2011, unregistered guests, unregistered visitors or minors under the age of 18 (unless accompanied by parents) are not permitted to enter into the hotel rooms. Only acceptable forms of ID for registration are physical passports or physical Colombian Cedulas. Digital or paper copies are not acceptable. Contraseña and police report showing lost ID are not acceptable.

If the total number of guests and visitors exceed the maximum number in the booking, there will be a charge of 120,000 COP/calendar day/extra person.

Calendar day in our computer system starts at midnight 12:00 AM.

Each registered guest in the room is allowed to modify the name of a visitor to the room once per calendar day, free of charge, without exceeding the maximum number in the booking. Each additional visitor registration, in excess of one per day per registered guest, will incur a nominal charge of 120,000 COP. Visitor or additional guest fees can only be charged to the room. But at the time of check out, any portion of the bill can be paid with cash.

Example A): If a principal guest booked a single room with double occupancy, he or she would be allowed to have one visitor at a time, each calendar day without additional charges.
Example B): If a principal guest books a 3 bedroom apartment with six person occupancy, but occupied by 3 guests, each guest would be allowed to register 1 visitor each calendar day to a maximum of 3 visitors, without additional charge.
Example C): If a principal guest books a 3 bedroom apartment with six person occupancy, but occupied by 4 guests, each guest would be allowed to register 1 visitor each calendar day to a maximum of 2 visitors, without additional charge.

Any unregistered guest or visitor entering a guest room without informing the receptionist, would be a violation of Colombian law and has an automatic charge of 300,000 COP and possible termination of booking without refunds.
